Warren Mills puts client service before anything else. As a corporate benefits consultant, he understands that providing knowledge and sound advice is more valuable than simply selling an insurance product. He digs deep to analyze and understand the smallest details in every employee benefit plan before giving any advice to his clients.
Warren joined The Winch Group in 2000 after gaining a solid foundation in employee benefits working for one of the world's largest insurance companies. He has since built an impressive list of clients that count on his strong analytical skills and his ability to translate complex detail into concepts that make sense to employers and employees.
Ensuring that employees understand the value of the benefit programs provided to them is key to any company's success. The concept of total compensation is one that Warren works hard to maximize for all of his clients and the result is often improved employee engagement, commitment and retention.
Growing up in a family of small business entrepreneurs, Warren learned the value of a dollar at an early age and knows the importance of never taking a customer for granted. His goal is to retain clients for long-term business relationships that allow him to bring value to the business as a trusted advisor. He builds that trust by continuously reviewing benefit programs and options for controlling costs, both those associated with claims and the costs of benefit plan administration. By doing more listening than talking with every client and analyzing each component of a benefit program, Warren uncovers the small opportunities that can deliver big results over time.
Warren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and is currently completing his Certified Financial Planner designation.
He is the proud father of two young boys who happily fill his spare time and remind him of the importance of work-life balance!
